Microsoft is working on Windows 10, and it seems that this time they're finally interested in listening to what people have to say thanks to their UserVoice programme...
It's a sort of forum, in English, where everyone posts their suggestion, and the others vote for or against it. You have 20 votes to allocate, and you can allocate a maximum of 3 votes for a suggestion. If the suggestion is closed or adopted, you get your votes back to distribute.
This is where it all happensYou can log in with your Microsoft, Gmail or Facebook account.
So make your voice heard! For all our sakes!
We've picked out the things I think need to be improved, particularly for gaming on UserVoice :
Playing comfort
For a neutral mouse response : https://windows.uservoice.com/forums/265757-windows-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6577056-remove-mouse-acceleration-and-natively-support-raw
To be able to completely deactivate vertical sync (which adds display delay to games, as a reminder - this will be the subject of a separate article), even in windowed mode: https://windows.uservoice.com/forums/265757-windows-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6583033-give-us-the-option-to-disable-the-forced-v-sync-on
To reduce audio latency (you may never have noticed, but even in games, sounds come out around 150 to 250ms, i.e. 1/4 of a second after the image : https://windows.uservoice.com/forums/265757-windows-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6582027-better-audio-midi-support
See GPU (graphics card) usage in Task Manager : https://windows.uservoice.com/forums/265757-windows-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6554152-add-a-gpu-usage-column-to-task-manager
Ease of use
Focus the window you are pointing at (to be able to scroll without having to click in the window you are pointing at) : https://windows.uservoice.com/forums/265757-windows-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6581035-scroll-windows-under-the-mouse-without-having-to-c
There are plenty more, we'll leave you to look, you can also comment with your links that we can add to the article, we hope that this time Microsoft will offer us the best possible experience for Windows 10!
