And yes, we all feared it... with 15 days to go before launch, we were thinking "no news, good news", but no! Rockstar has just announced quite a few things in a blog post, including a revised release date for our long-awaited PC version: 24 March 2015
To make amends, they have finally given the recommended configuration4K screenshots of the PC version, as well as a bit of information, particularly about multiplayer.
Of course, we get the usual spiel:
"We're sorry to have had to change the release date, but the game still needs a few weeks of testing and fine-tuning to be as polished as possible when it's released. It's never pleasant to have to postpone a release date, but we only take this decision when it's in the best interests of the game and our fans. We thank you for your understanding and can assure you that the game will be well worth the wait.
If Rockstar says it's worth it... Let's hope that the optimisation, multiplayer and abandonment of Windows Live Games will make it an excellent game!
So let's come back to what has just been said and what we know:

Debriefing
Basically, you need at least: Windows 7/8 64-bit, a Quad-Core from 2011, 8GB of RAM, a graphics card with 2GB of RAM that's less than 3 years old (and not low-end), more than 100GB of free disk space (if you want to have any left over, especially for DLC and updates or your gay porn).
Note that only 64-bit versions of Windows are accepted! Which means: 64-bit gaming! And that's a good thing, because it has to suck up a lot of RAM, and 32-bit systems limit the use of RAM for an application to 3GB. Which means fewer micro lags and occasional jerks when you move around the map? We hope so! If you don't know whether your Windows is 32 or 64 bits, under Windows 7, go to 'Start' then right-click on 'Computer' and select 'Properties'. And that's it, the info is right there in the middle of the screen, under your nose.
In the end, we still don't know if we'll be able to create our own server, but in any case... It's beautiful! And it should be well worth it!
I'm sharing all the screenshots they provided, if you click you'll see them in 4K!
